Patrick,
Still no success.
I edited the project file but it just crashed CDC!
I then extracted the settings ie
(page 2)
RATYPE 3
Dec TYPE 2
Equinox 2000 etc

and ran the Catgen....
It seemed to work! No crashes and all the folders and files were seen in the
output directory. No error txt.
Set up catalogues in CDC as per your previous notes (Tycho 0-6, UC3 0-3)UC3
shows a green box and zoomed in on M37....no UC3 stars showing, only Tycho...
Re-installed V3.0.16 and tried that.... still nothing.
I've just opened the N6000 folder (for example)and find that although all the
data files are there (uc34014 to uc34293) they are all 0Kb!!!!
I then tried to run the installation project file I had saved and again CDC
crashed.
Re-entered the input/ output etc and Catgen appeared to run.....
When I checked the data file output they were still 0Kb!!?????
Has anyone honestly had success using the conversion program and Catgen to get
the catalogue into CDC??
( Just thinking as I type... I should also check the contents of the conversion
program.....)
Ken
