Hmmm Still no success! I tried the Catgen (under CDC V3.0.1.4) selected all the 360 files in the folder, selected the usual RA/ Dec etc requirements and made sure the target hard drive had plenty of space (>60Gb)..well it started OK but after about 100 files it came up with the error message "Disk Full" Uploaded the latest V3.0.1.6 tried again but this time only 40 files at a time. First seemed to go through OK, second batch likewise but the third ( at around 100 files) again crashed with the same error. Should I just cut my losses and download the 2Gb UCAC3 files from the CDC website?????? On the wiki page it says "use a snapshot more recent than Skychart-3.1-1232" but although the 1232 seems to refere to a wiki revison number I don't know what I'm looking for. Sorry for sharing my pain, but hopefully the outcome may help others. Ken
