Hi, The program is u3conv, not iconv. iconv is a GNU software to convert file encoding. Then remember that path separator are inverted between Unix and DOS/Windows. With XP you need to use backslash and drive letters, but not the initial /.
Get u3conv from the zip file: http://www.ap-i.net/pub/skychart/ucac3/u3conv.zip Extract the zip content to G:\cdcucac3\ Open a Windows terminal, type : G: cd cdcucac3 Then the command you need is probably: u3conv.exe --cddir E:\ --outdir G:\cdcucac3\ Run it for each side of the UCAC3 DVD. Patrick
