Admittedly I have no plans to change that keystroke, because I see no
way to change it intuitively without breaking something else.  The
Command system requires commands to be grouped, which mandates the "c"
in the sequence.  I find "l," for just hearing a list, much faster and
more frequently used than Ctrl+l for bringing up a dialog box
containing chat names.  You can also do Command c shift+l to hear the
list without leaving Command mode, so you can then tap a number by
itself to jump to a conversation.

All that said though, I imagine some people will have more than 10
conversations open at once even though I don't tend to do this.  The
Command C <number> system becomes a problem in that case, so I am
making Ctrl+Shift+L do what Command C Ctrl+L now does.  In the next
release, Ctrl+Shift+L will bring up the list of conversations.
