hello there was in the menu section of 3.8 a section called missed events if there was a missed call or someone wants to share details with you a sub menu would open if there was no missed events it would not there is nothing like that in 4.1 i think there should be why do they have to change things around and remove items that people are used to why cant they leave it as it is with just an improvement in sound quality so in answer to your question you were not imagining it there was a selection choice and notification of missed events in 3.8
