support page's explanation: To enable a Contact Category, go to main manu and select Contacts > Contact Categories > See All Contact Categories. To create a new Contact Category, go to main menu Contacts > Contact Categories > Create New Category. Then enter the name of the Contact Category you want to create on the Contacts tab and press 'Enter'. This will create a new Contact Category. You can view all the predefined and user created Contact Categories from the drop down menu on the contacts tab, if Contact Categories is enabled. You can also see them from the Main manu Contacts > Contact Categories. FAQ's explanation: To activate Contact Grouping you'll need the latest version of Skype.
