Hi folks.

I'm running Windows 7 64-bit, the latest Skype and the latest Jaws on a very fast machine. For some reason I can't imagine, Skype now crashes on start up, but was working perfectly well until yesterday.

Windows pops up a message saying it will close the program, and notify me when there is a fix. I cancel that dialog, hear a message that Skype is unloaded.

While that Windows error message is up, my system becomes very unresponsive.

Is anybody else having this problem?

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Skype, with no luck.

thanks for any help or suggestions,

Chris
