Hi I to have found this and I agree since the people at skype changed the
format adding a contact is not as easy as it once was. from Mich.

the add acontact dialogue appears to be very sluggish on my system. It
can take about 5 to 10 seconds to navigate from one field to another. And
sometimes it is so slow that it looks like the computer freezes. I then
have to stop manipulating, and wait for things to subtle for about a
minute.
Is this normal?
