I've observed sluggishness in that dialog myself sometimes, but I confess I use Clisk way more often than Skype itself to add contacts, so I rarely bump into this dialog these days. That said, when I did make concerted attempts to grapple with this issue, I never managed to figure out its cause or a way to avoid it. I'm not sure if it's related to JAWS or scripts at all; it may only be a Skype-internal issue.
