I very much hope you're right, Chela, when you say that you don't expect the MSN protocol in third party programs such as Miranda to be killed off when Windows Live Messenger itself is discontinued. To get back to the topic of this thread, I will probably never find out why Messenger suddenly stopped working on Skype for me after a few weeks, but Skype Support have already unmerged my Messenger and Skype accounts, less than two days after I asked them to. I have no plans to try merging them again unless I absolutely have to do so. In the meantime, I can now use MSN on Miranda again while having Skype running, as I used to do before the merge, which suits me fine. Bye for now! >From Clare
