I think this is another one of those things that has happened to various
people and not others for some reason. I've heard of some Mac users that
said their old Leopard version had become unusable recently. I think GW
definitely went though. For me, the router ended up rebooting, and then it
was gone.

Better get used to the newest Skype version. They send out a mail saying
they'll soon stop supporting old versions of Skype. So you may expect that
it'll soon work no more.
