For me, I use IFree Skype recorder from http://www.ifree-recorder.com/
because It supported record 2 channels and work on the latest version of
skype.

To be fair, i think it depends exactly what you want to do with skype. I'm
not sure if total recorder still works with skype, but other than that, i
have had no issues whatsoever with version 6.22.
For me, it works just as well as 6.21. just my humble opinion.

you know what folks. I really think someone needs to start a petition
going
around for all of us to sign onto and give Microsoft bad publicity for
pulling the rug out from under applications that make skype more
accessible
for people who are blind. They are a large enough company that they could
continue to support two versions. It wouldn't hurt them financially at
all.
I'm getting really sick of this. First it was GW Connect and now skype
taking and we all have to be careful not to ungrade or we have to go
through
the whole process of uninstalling and reinstalling a previous version. Why
should we have to jump through such hoops all the time. And if not for
Doug it would be even worse.

It still works but not with the newest version of skype.
Not sure what will hapen in the future.
I need it for work and other things I am doing so I reverted back to an
earlier version of skype.
I could also use a sound editor but I don't want to use it for everything
when recording.

Hello fellow listers,
Well, I think mp3 skype recorder has quit. I've tried to record a skype
call earlier tonight and again to make a test call, but both times, the
program didn't work. Is there a replacement for mp3 skype recorder
that's accessible? And that works with windows 8.1? Thanks and happy
