Maybe because Skype Talking uses Skype API rather than MSAA which you are
using? (Sorry if I am wrong).

Skype is not notifying me about status changes. E.G. "James is online" or
"James went offline", even if I select the relevant options in
Tools>Options>Notifications. I selected all the "Display a notification in the
Windows tray when someone..." check boxes, except the "has a birthday" check
box. (even if I also check that one, it have no effect on my problem.) Also, I
am sure my Skype Watch is loaded and working.
Also Skype is not playing sounds for "contact online and "my contact goes
offline". I am sure they are checked in options. I can here all other sounds.
So any idea about this issue?
