No caso do tar.gz ou tar.bz2, eles não são empacotamentos, e sim
compactação.
tgz, pode ser um pacote de Slackware ou compactação.
No caso de compactação....
tar.gz e tgz é praticamente a mesma coisa e geralmente os arquivos
compactados nesse formato ficam maiores que o tar.bz2.
Pergunta: Então qual a vantagem do tar.gz/tgz se ocupam mais espaço ?
Resposta: Menos processamento para descompactar !!!
