Hi folks,

for the preparation of a first Slide 2.0 beta release which was
scheduled for end of January what are mandatory actions to be taken
and what stuff is still in the pipeline and needs to be finished?

There also is some stuff of unclear state (at least to me):

- Postgres port: Martin, I guess you have already done work on it,
right? Will it be ready for the first beta?

Yes, unless I discover new bugs. But the content store will probably
not be real production quality. Not a slide problem, but a problem
of the JDBC driver when handling large binary data.

What do we do then? Omit it from the 2.0 release? I thought there was a version that worked ok, wasn't there?

Now for the showstoppers.

- Tests: look good

Did you ever test the J2EE store with caching disabled? The usually "perl TProcessor.pl -pattern '*cases/functional*'"
does run almost completely in cache so some error may be
hidden.

Ah, that's a good idea...
