It should be part of slide 2.0. If the postgres people do no apply my patch in time I could write at a workaround to the PostgresAdapter. Memory consumption for large documents (> 1 MB) will still be a problem. I was to optimistic here.

Btw is it acceptable to call connection.setAutocommit(false) in J2EE store?

No, I do not think so, but this is not done, is it?
