What I am going to do is

2.) Run final tests on the server

Does this make sense? I have never done a release/roll out on Jakarta before, so please check this is no nonsense.
Open questions
1.) I can speak for the server part only, so is the Client part ready for a release as well?
2.) Should client sources be included in the server source distribution?
3.) My PGP key is only trused by myself, does anyone else want to sign the distributions? Is is necessary to sign the distribution in the first place?
