My questions:
- What else do I have to do (except updating the downloads page)?
- As indicated by http://cvs.apache.org/~bodewig/mirror.html is there anything to be changed in /www/www.apache.org/dist/jakarta/.htaccess?
I found this line in it that confuses me:
Redirect /dist/jakarta/jakarta-slide http://jakarta.apache.org/builds/jakarta-slide
- Do I have to change any rsync/statistic scripts?
Any hints highly appreciated!

AFAIK at Jakarta non-final releases are kept in cvs.apache.org and are not mirrored.
Oh, right. Forgot about that... but the concept of mirroring is to reduce bandwidth load and you can be sure that lots of people will download slide 2.0 even if beta.
What does the PMC suggest? [copying them]
