Er no, you are under the mistaken impression that bzImage means bzip2
compressed Image. In fact it means big zImage, the compression algorithm
is gzip in both cases. The difference is that bzImages load above 1MB
thus allowing the footprint to exceed 512kB (or is it 576kB?), the limit
when the image is loaded under 1MB.
