AFAIK, a make bzImage or make bzlilo doesn't compress the kernel more,
it adds some extra boot code to allow a compressed kernel bigger than
whatever limit was imposed for a zImage. I remember reading from a FAQ
that 'bzImage' stood for 'bigger zImage', not stating it was compressed
with bzip2 instead of gzip.
