Probably not the appropriate list to discuss this, but the bottom line is if you 
have W95 or W98 then you can't keep them out, you must have either NT or 
2000 (set to need a login), then you can generally lock it down tighter than a 
fishes bum (apart from hackers - but you can plug security holes as well)

Yes it is an all girls school and no we don't have much malicious damage (or 
attempts), they change the background or screensaver, but that is fixed 
when they logout. We even teach the girls how to take out the mouse ball 
and clean the rollers with a finger nail, rather than having to glue them shut.
