I've gotta backup Jason on his observations. Our company
made the Arkeia mistake. 

(*) constant Windows --> Linux backup problems (never resolved)

(*) they "lost" our licencing info and demanded more $$$ for
    help

(*) we never found the system reliable

(*) lose your backup registry/directory and you are stuffed
