`cept that apt is so good it doesn't *need* a net connection.
you say "apt-get install some-software-that-hasn\'t-been-thought-of"
and it goes and writes it for you! then tests it, fixes bugs, comes up
with a controversial license, starts a sourceforge project, announces
on freshmeat, fixes some more bugs, changes the license to be GPL
compatible, integrates the mozilla rendering widget, writes a gui
configuration front-end, randomly chooses a debian maintainer, builds
the debian package, splits out the different widget set front-ends,
-doc and -dev into different packages, chooses the package you
actually wanted, recompiles it with the newer version of ncurses and
then installs it.
and you thought that progress counter was just a download!
