06:55 Wake up, find base system downloaded, decide to ham up my priorities
      and get this sucker going.

07:03 Completed base install, configuring timezones. Anyone who's done a
Debian install will know this rigmarole.

07:05 "Make Linux Bootable Directly From Hard Disk" -> HURRAH!

07:06 Bugger.

07:07 Run through the installation again, without all the pauses for
      downloading.

07:19 Install completed, not booting again. These *ILO variations are giving
me the creeps. MILO (Alpha), TILO, SILO, LILO...

07:20 Decide to actually *read* the error message that the BIOS gives me.
"/vmlinuz: ext2 error"... Not quite as smack-on-the-head RTFEM as I
      thought.

07:21 Run through install again, jump to a console to check out what's going
      on in /boot. AHA! Seems the vmlinuz soft link was pointing to nothing;
the kernel file had an additional Sun hardware bit in the name. Looks
like a bug, so I will have to report it.

07:22 Relink kernel file, reboot.

07:24 WOOOOO-HOOOOO!!!!!!1111

07:25 Oh hey, it's just like Linux, only exactly the same! (What did I
      expect?) ;)

Thanks to the ComputerBank gang! I hope SLUG and ComputerBank can do some
cool things together in the future, like mass installs and such; it would be
good work, and heaps of fun (with the right beer).
