*shrug* at least you've got something running :)

Current State of the Indy:
   ext2 root filesystem built.
   CVS kernel built [2.4.1]
   test kernel from sgi downloaded [2.4.1-test2 - rather flaky.]

Problems:
*  CVS kernel boots beautifully.  ngconsole (indy's don't use fbconsole) works.
   everything fires up nicely... then you try to untar sometime and
   tar expolodes. :/ This isn't a ext2 issue, since it does exactly
   the same from an NFS-root.  Its whineing about invalid
   instructions.  Of course, the same version of tar worked with the
   flakier 2.4.1-test2 kernel which has major fs read issues.
