Hi,
I have found that I can do a dpkg-reconfigure netenv if I remove the
files in /etc/netenv/ but machine still does not connect out. I have
added manually two DNS servers into resolv.conf
I have a file called casteret-default in /etc/netenv that says what the
ipaddr and netmask and broadcast addr are. There is a bit of info in
/usr/share/doc/netenv but not enough to help me.
I remember that when I installed this from uni last week it detected the
metwork and setup netenv and away went apt-get quite happily.
I have done also dpkg-reconfigure -s -a and answered the questions (I
put in -s to ask all the questions)
but still it didnt setup network to get out. I can ping locally from the
manual settings I made but thats all.
