Ah thanks for the script. I had a look at netenv and it looks good but
getting it to actually come up when booting eludes me just now. Went to
download its homepage again but our network has just died here at UTS. I
will persist tomorrow and see if I can get it going.

Anyhow once I got apt-get working I got the xserver-xfree86-dri-trunk
and the special benh kernel for the PPC.
Then got make-kpkg which really makes creating new kernels a snack. A
while later with a new xserver + new kernel + Craige McWhirters
XF86Config-4 file and X started. Then apt-get install enlightenment and
I am away :-)

All's well. A bit of networking still to setup.
