I think that it's great to have such a large range of distributions to choose from, I just get annoyed when rivalry between distributions turns ugly. I think that people should be allowed to choose a distribution without being subjected to criticism for that choice. All distributions have their pros and cons, and they should be respected for what they are, and not what they are made out to be.
