You can install the current unstable versions of your X packages again by
doing:

  apt-get install xterm/unstable

Use make menuconfig instead. :-)

(There's also make gconfig, which is the GTK+ version, and I know it doesn't
have broken dependencies, but... make menuconfig is better than either of
the GUI ones.)
