You can install the current unstable versions of your X packages again by doing: apt-get install xterm/unstable > or is there a better way of compiling this kernel? Use make menuconfig instead. :-) (There's also make gconfig, which is the GTK+ version, and I know it doesn't have broken dependencies, but... make menuconfig is better than either of the GUI ones.) - Jeff -- linux.conf.au 2004: Adelaide, Australia http://lca2004.linux.org.au/ "Evil will always triumph over good, because good is dumb." - Dark Helmet, Spaceballs -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User's Group Mailing List - http://slug.org.au/ Subscription info and FAQs: http://slug.org.au/faq/mailinglists.html
