You'll need a VOIp provider if you want to call out ... when you
choose one, check its website.  Many have really cheap deals on
locked-in VOIP routers (mynetfone has a $1 deal for instance).

Also, check out your mobile phone ... many of the high end phones from
Nokia and Blackberry (don't now about others) have wifi and voip
capabilities ... so you can call from your existing mobile.

And don;t worry about WPA ... the wifi handsets mostly can cope with
that (just check the specs before you buy).
