True. But have you seen what this VoIP hardware look like? All he
needs is an ATA that's the size of a couple lf cigerette boxes. Entire
VoIP PBX's are about the same size. These things take about 5-9v DC
and they never heat up. Compared to the rest of the stuff you have at
home (even the ADSL modem itself) I'd guess their power consumption is
virtually zero.
