Calling it GNU is not going to help anything. What the community needs is actual contribution in terms of code, documentation, artwork, legal advice and even funds for potential legal battles. Calling the system GNU/Linux or Stallmanix or TheRealUltimateOS won't change the fact that MS will continue to spread FUD. What they will do is probably change all references to Linux to GNU/Linux in their MS Word document using a global search and replace function and continue with the patent claims.
