The WiFi hotspots with captive portals like [EMAIL PROTECTED] will
still require you to fire up your webbrowser. I still find that
I prefer using GPRS over [EMAIL PROTECTED] for speed.

You can automate login to [EMAIL PROTECTED] via a script and cURL.  I've
experimented with this...,};-)

After you have connected to a [EMAIL PROTECTED] hotspot, any HTTP GET
request automatically gets redirected to a HTTPS connection that
presents you with a login form.  You can use cURL (wget, etc.) to
submit the form with your [EMAIL PROTECTED] username and login info.

After that, all web traffic goes through as per normal.
