yeah, but you'd have to figure that out for each hotspot type separately ([EMAIL PROTECTED], [ possibly even the 3 different operators], starhub, mcDonalds, and all the overseas ones one may want to use). A standard would be nice..
Not necessary for [EMAIL PROTECTED] My understanding is that IDA mandates that the login page info remains the same. The three operators are allowed to customize the image that is presented next to the login info (which the script should ignore, of course). So a [EMAIL PROTECTED] login script should work with any of the operators. Now, all we need is for some hacker with a wireless itch to scratch to modify the current Gnome NetworkManager (and other wireless tools) to allow users to plug-in login scripts for login-type hotspots...};-) Regards, Kam Yung -- Soh Kam Yung my Google Reader Shared links: (http://www.google.com/reader/shared/16851815156817689753) my delicious links: (http://del.icio.us/SohKamYung) my simpy links: (http://www.simpy.com/user/kysoh/links) _______________________________________________ Slugnet mailing list [email protected] http://www.lugs.org.sg/mailman/listinfo/slugnet
