We can get volunteers of other open source societies to teach some parts of the course, if we have the network. Pooling of limited resources with common plan will work than being left alone to fend by itself. It might work out more, if there's "business" to it, such as teaching and as well as promoting relevant products and services along with it. For secondary schools, businesses is quite limited, but put it on the higher institutions, people might be interested in certifications and others. So worse comes to worst, it will be purely jobs of volunteers, but I'm sure there will be volunteers. And the questions is how and where to source for the volunteers? The umbrella seemed to be a better idea, since it might not be restricted to linux only. For people who have seen the ubuntu page posted by ray, there are open source components that run cross-platform. But it'll be good it's standardised to teach on one Open Source OS so as not to confuse users, although we would introduce other Open Source OS too. Regards John
