Per your message below, I don't believe that to be the case.

I've tested:

Mikrotik V2.7 PPPoE Client ---->APP--->AB----WinXP PPPoE Client

Running 1.43 cd release and firmware....PPPoE works fine.
No other changes Running 1.5 cd release and firmware I get the following
message from WinXP:
Disconnected. Error 721. The remote computer did not respond.  It seems to
hang when doing authentication.

I'm sure you would be able to duplicate this in a lab with the same results.

I'm really hurting for the firmware that was scheduled for Third week of May
that SUPPORTS PPPoE.
Is there any word on the status?
