Due to aB's MAC NAT functionallity pppoe will NOT work with it. So
only way to make PPPoE work with sB equipment is either today use the
older firmware (0.09.10 which comes with 1.43) or use a aP in client
bridge mode that does NOT do MAC NATing.

OR... For sB to allow the aB to be a REAL bridge and not do MAC
NATing.

MS> Alex,
MS> Per your message below, I don't believe that to be the case.

MS> I've tested:

MS> Mikrotik V2.7 PPPoE Client ---->APP--->AB----WinXP PPPoE Client

MS> Running 1.43 cd release and firmware....PPPoE works fine.
MS> No other changes Running 1.5 cd release and firmware I get the following
MS> message from WinXP:
MS> Disconnected. Error 721. The remote computer did not respond. It seems to
MS> hang when doing authentication.

MS> I'm sure you would be able to duplicate this in a lab with the same results.

MS> I'm really hurting for the firmware that was scheduled for Third week of May
MS> that SUPPORTS PPPoE.
MS> Is there any word on the status?
