Very nice! I assume it doesn’t
matter if the Airpoints are on different frequencies, right?

Hi
Marlon,
1. Roaming
![]()
By
enabling the Roaming option, airBridge will associate with the Access Points
sharing the same ESSID and can switch in between them automatically.
o
Select Infrastructure
Mode
o
Uncheck "Select
>From Available Access Points" option
o
Enter Valid ESSID
o
Check Roaming option
o
Click Set Values button
Note
that the ESSID will be set to "000000000000"
In
this Mode, the airBridge can connect to any Access Point with the same ESSID,
based on signal strength and can switch in between them if one goes down. In
the above Fig. Access Points (Main and Standby) are shown. Both are ON at the
time and share same ESSID. airBridge is associated to Main airPoint-PRO. The
airBridge has specific settings. The ESSID is same as that of Access Point and
BSSID equal to "0000000000000". In case if the Main Access Point goes
down, airBridge will reassociate with the Standby Access Point. The switchover
time in normally upto 5 secs. This guarantees the internet connection to all
the PCs behind airBridge even if one Access Point goes down.
