In the above Fig. Access Points (Main and Standby) are shown. Both are ON at the time and share same ESSID. airBridge is associated to Main airPoint-PRO. The airBridge has specific settings. The ESSID is same as that of Access Point and BSSID equal to "0000000000000". In case if the Main Access Point goes down, airBridge will reassociate with the Standby Access Point. The switchover time in normally upto 5 secs. This guarantees the internet connection to all the PCs behind airBridge even if one Access Point goes down.
