As long the ESSID is the same then the frequency don't matter.

JO> Hi Marlon,

JO> 1. Roaming

JO> By enabling the Roaming option, airBridge will associate with the Access
JO> Points sharing the same ESSID and can switch in between them
JO> automatically.

JO> o Select Infrastructure Mode

JO> o Uncheck "Select From Available Access Points" option

JO> o Enter Valid ESSID

JO> o Check Roaming option

JO> o Click Set Values button

JO> Note that the ESSID will be set to "000000000000"

JO> In this Mode, the airBridge can connect to any Access Point with the
JO> same ESSID, based on signal strength and can switch in between them if
JO> one goes down. In the above Fig. Access Points (Main and Standby) are
JO> shown. Both are ON at the time and share same ESSID. airBridge is
JO> associated to Main airPoint-PRO. The airBridge has specific settings.
JO> The ESSID is same as that of Access Point and BSSID equal to
JO> "0000000000000". In case if the Main Access Point goes down, airBridge
JO> will reassociate with the Standby Access Point. The switchover time in
JO> normally upto 5 secs. This guarantees the internet connection to all the
JO> PCs behind airBridge even if one Access Point goes down.
