Sounds like many things:
Logging in as user instead of admin
   Primary port not set right
   Wrong FW for repeater mode
Wrong MAC in authentication on main AP
   Water in cable
   Bad power (low voltage)
   Faulty powerShot
Wrong config on xxxxxxx(fill in the blank)

Have you used simpleDeploy on it, what FW are you using, what version of NMS
or simpleMonitor are you using, how much cable are you using, can your test
device see the main AP and the repeater AP, what model of power supply are
you using, how old is the unit, are you plugging anything in to the Ethernet
port of the router, where are you monitoring it from, if you 'factory
default' the repeater AP how is it staying in repeater mode, what IPs and
subnet are you using, how far is the repeater from the main AP, how far is
the monitoring device away from the repeater, how far away is the monitoring
device away from the main AP, how much wireless experience do you have, how
much networking experience do you have? Unless someone has had this EXACT
problem and fixed it, we just don't have enough information to troubleshoot
the problem. Please give more detail.

Subject: [smartBridges] Wireless port problems...

Ok... Here's a big problem that's starting to just p*** me off...

airPoint Pro (indoor)

Unit 1: Will not do any RF Output when in repeater mode... If I set it to
AP mode, and reset it (holding in the reset button) and clicking the factory
default's button... and spend 10 min or so doing this the unit will start
sending RF packets...

Now, the counters show that it's getting rf packets, but not a single tx
packet... not even beacon's...

Now, Unit 2:

Same problems as Unit one, except with a twist... On the Tx packets for the
RF interface, I see one broadcast... never anymore than that... and the
Ethernet interface keeps resetting about every 2 min... This one is just
going to be a normal AP...

Has anyone ever seen anything like this before? On Unit 1 I'm trying to
Associate it to an AP. I can see many AP's, but any of them I double click
on it just counts down to 0 seconds and gives me the failed message. If I
put the info (ESSID, BSSID, etc) in manually, as soon as I hit the Set
Values button, it pop's up an error telling me it can't set it...

Any idea's? Or do I have to RMA these units? I already have a handful of
other ap's that I am having to rma...
