Tom,

Could you expand on your statement re the email attachments? What
specifically have you seen?

Try setting the MTU on all units to 1492. This will limit packet sizes. Some
problems have been seen when sending email with attachments and MTUs larger
than 1492.

What would be the symptoms of the unit rebooting? Would the
graph do what I describe - dropping to zeros for a second or two
with zero data transfer during that time? I've just had a thought
that maybe it's crashing while transmitting, since the downloads
are generally OK, but uploads can be either OK or non-existent.
Also, when the graph lines go to zero, the other screens that show
the associated AP go blank (the form fields clear out) for a sec
as well, and then re-populate with the AP / SSID / MAC etc.

The link status usually tells us it is interference or noise in the
wireless link. Is the RSSI stays consistence? Try changing to other
channel. Do you use Long Preamble?

The symptom I see is the link status graph dropping from 92% to zero for
a second and then jumping back up for a few seconds. If I'm doing a
ping
during this time, I see an timeout during the drop-out, and then they'll
resume
once the graph jumps back up. I don't know if this is the way the graph
normally handles packet loss or adaptive rate shifting or what. It's
just
a frustrating thing for the customer, who has a link that works
perfectly
8 miles out for two days, and then they get < 1K uploads for three
hours.
