I heard that!  We have our own key to the water tower so we don't have to
tell anyone we are going out there.  The cops did come out one night when
just my two techs were out there without me.  Some neighbor called the
police and told them there were "kids" on the water tower.  They had to show
their ID and company business cards.  The police chief knows about us since
we are providing service to the city in exchange for use of the tower, but I
guess he didn't bother to tell his officers.  My top tech does most of the
climbing and he is getting to where he just looks up at the tower, sighs,
and scurries up the tower.  It used to take him about 10 minutes to climb,
but he has done it so much now that it only takes him a couple of minutes to
make the 130' climb.  I just hope this nonsense doesn't last too much
longer, I hope the replacement radios I get this week will be the end of the
daily climbs.
