Try another POE and or power adapter and check the wiring Cat 5 possibly water got into the jacket or at the connector... Also if it is a NEWER one with the waterproof connector people say they have been seeing issues with water still getting in so I would start there 1st. I also had an ABT case start to warp with a big enough gap on the edge to let water in and a few other people are starting to see the same issue as well.
