Really? Interesting... I have a customer on 1/2 mile
true LOS using a Maxrad 13dbi that is having disassociation issues about once
per day. Power cycle fixes it. I am using the 13dbi panel for its narrower
pattern (noisy environment) but maybe I should go try a 9.

Subject: RE: [smartBridges] ghosts of fw past??It is most likely a multipath signal that this customer is recieving that close to the tower (unless your antenna is point straight down). I had the same problem, and replaced the CPE antenna with a 5dBi omni from an old Linksys card. Works great now.-----Original Message-----A customer of mine is using an indoor airBridge on XP less than half a block away from the basestation. The radio is situated on the window sill (inside) and signal strength and link quality are good. Problem is that every now and then he cannot get onto the Internet. Blue light is blinking. Each time I go there, I power everything down, make sure the connectors are solid and reboot everthing. After a few minutes -WHAM!- back online.

Since we have upgraded the firmware on all our APPOs and ABs, could it still be possible that the old disassociation issue is around?? If not, then what else can this be?
