Thanks - I will check those things, I don't think
the boot virus detection is on, we never turn that on when setting up a
mobo. However, the drive was partition once before - so you are saying if
the drive has been formatted or used at all that we can't use it for this
application? I thought the software would reformat the drive - it says in
the manual that any data on the drive will be lost. This could be the
problem.

OK, can you help me figure out why the MikroTik
router software I downloaded and burned to CD won't load on the box we built
for it? I have burned the CD three times, downloaded the file twice,
but it will not load. When I try to boot from the CD, it comes up to
the first line, something about loading a kernel, then beeps and throws
garbage on the screen that continues rolling until you shut it off. We
built a box with an ECS K7S5A mobo, 700 MHz AMD proc, 3 GB HD, and standard
AGP video card. Any ideas? I have been on the air for over a
month now with no bandwidth control, even though I am selling tiered
bandwidth, because I have not been able to get anything working. I
tried the BriLan demo and couldn't get it working, now the MikroTik won't
even load.

I've taken a look at MicroTik's website and it seems to be
software that runs on a desktop. Is this correct or is it a
separate piece of hardware similar to a Linksys or Cysco, etc.

The MikroTik router actually handles the HotSpot login page. Through
the use of Firewall rules we've set things up to allow a link from
the HotSpot login page to a secure page on our web server so that
