Get over it people like he said its software no matter what format it's in firmware or regular software there will continue to be fixes and advancements it's how software works, they did fix certain problems doesn't mean that other problems don't exist that there fixing that could also cause the radio to freeze it's a blue screen/dump I suppose if you want to speak in windows lingo, it crashes there working on ways to bypass the bluescreen persay to make the unit function continually no matter what changes the firmware hence solid reliability, so they can continue to develop without fear that a code error will kill clients connections cause there will be a default subroutine to save the link.

How many Microsoft patches have you ever applied? The point to be taken
here is that engineering is a continuous process. I too have about three
radios of which I will try the new firmware on. I'm happy that
Smartbridges continues to develop the firmware.
If you need a replacement SB2400 call or write I believe I still have one
new in the box. It was a mis-shipment from Electro-Comm.
