We are experimenting with open source tool NetSNMP. It looks quite promising. So just hang in there and we may be able to give you guys a good solution.

some of us will be perfectly happy with a complete MIB that has sufficient documentation and actually validates.
To give a couple of examples - the documentation on how to pull client rssi/lq information from the AP is nonexistent in the latest MIB - it has to be reverse engineered from network traces. The same with the dial-a-power (CR31?) settings.
