I'd like to see a kit with and outdoor box for the batteries and
regulator designed to handle 1 xo2 and 1 for two xo2s.

In most locations you can get a private power contractor to set a 50 -
60 ft wood pole cheaper than buying and setting a similar 25g tower.
You have to be able to use pole spikes or have a really big ladder or
have step spikes put on the pole.  This with a solar solution would be
an inexpensive way to get to remote locations.  I had to spend $4,500 to
get power to a site for one of our backbone links.  This may be cheap
compared to the cost of solar though.
