I just talked to the people at Rflinx about that very question and they
told me that they use a good portion of the 900 spectrum in order to keep
that data rate. If they work( I will probably try them in the next few
weeks)could save thousands on tower construction. Hell can get 3 of them for
the price of geo survey which is required for commercial towers.

Never tried, but I would not believe the "keeps 11 Mbps speed" 
statement.  The whole point of 2.4 GHz and 900 Mhz is the frequency 
itself at allowed power can not transmit enough data for those sppeds.
